GTX 570 any good to play this on 1440p monitor? do people use controllers or keyboards for GTA on PC?

Don't know about graphics card, but I use a controller when playing it. Can use keyboard and mouse but it's down to personal preference.

Don't have any figures to back it up; but doubt the 570 could play this game at 1440p.

It will struggle at 1440p, the FPS would be really low. 1080p will be fine though with medium/high settings. It will still look good though.

At 1440p I'd say you're pushing it. You'll need to tone down a lot of settings. Better off at 1080p.

even on the lowest settings it could be a stuttery mess if you dont have a decent cpu.

I would seriously advise against this deal, I bought and had to use the social club to download the game, it is absolutely terrible. Takes forever to DL, I wish I could go back and buy the game through Steam! even if it cost £5 nor it would have been worth it.

I really would think the service itself should have almost nothing to do with the download speed
And it can't have been bad enough for you to want to spend an extra fiver

It may be a problem your end. Have a look in the settings and see if it's set to throttle.
My copy is with the social club and never had any problems with download speed, downloaded it multiple times. It always downloads for me at full speed.
I am on Virgin 200mb.

How do you play GTA Online?

I'm holding out for a steam code for pure convenience or am I being unrealistic about this? Just feel that the game is still a bit much seeing how long it's been out

It hasn't been out that long on PC had it? It's the consoles that have had it for ages..

There will probably never be a Steam code you can purchase for this game. Rockstar haven't disrupted any full stop, so best you can hope for is one day a reasonable drop happens on a Steam sale.

Rockstar's service has pretty much half to do with it. Your download speed depends on both your connection and theirs.
That said, I get great speeds with Rockstar, up to 13MB/s (my max).
