Bought and downloaded Red Alert 2 but when I launch it the video is extremely choppy and trying to play the game it is as well.
I'm trying on a Surface running Win 10, is there any quick and easy things I can try?

Thank you. I now know for future reference
Does the last C&C game Tiberian Twilight work on Win10? I read a Steam review saying that you need to create an account, but as the logon site is no longer in use so the game is unplayable? http://store.steampowered.com/app/47700/ (see top reviews)

Does anyone know how to actually run this? Last I read the latest versions of windows can't run earlier versions?
Genuinely considering buying a cheap laptop to play these.

on my windows 8.1 pro laptop all run fine, on my windows 8.1 pro gaming PC they all run fine except for the screen resolution as im on a 40" 4k TV so need a tad tweaking in the settings to run the graphics good, but apart from that all seems to work fine for me. although the EA client can be temperamental

I think it would be a struggle to play this type of game 'effectively' with the typical mousepad you get on a laptop. You can manage and get by of course, but your making it harder and could get frustrated. If your sitting at a table or desk with a laptop, you could of course just plug a traditional mouse in I suppose.

Heat from me Buzz
Wonder which version of the first Command & Conquer game this is in the bundle?. Standard or the Gold edition?. Gold edition had the upgraded graphics and higher resolution and ran in Windows 95 as opposed to DOS.

It just simply has to be Generals: Zero Hour.
Countless hours of my teenage years spent on this. I can even remember sitting there with my friends in school designing maps and then going home to create them in the world builder and play online.

Yes bud. It's yours to own and you can download it to as many PCs are you wish, however you can only be logged into the Origin client on one machine at any given time.
No subscription is required and yes it's attached to the account it is redeemed on

Hi buzz, I remember I used to love this game when I was a kid. Can you please tell me how does this work?
If I buy this game do I get to keep it forever?
How many pc's I can install this?
Do I have to pay for a subscription or anything?
Is it attached to an account?
Seems like you know the stuff. Hope I'm not bothering you. Thanks
