It's very much like a summer ale so quite light, as with most things in life (including cat's p*ss) it is down to personal taste.

Little bit light in taste for me, but a great price!

Is this because it simply tastes like cat p*ss and therefore they can't sell the stuff?

Oh dear, if you've tasted cat p*ss no wonder your taste buds are shot, I'm sure mine would be! Mind you, 750ml bottles are rather large for beer, so maybe they are trying to dispose of it!

Your logic is flawed my friend. If I had already tasted cat p*ss and also this cheap ass ale, then I would already know if they tasted the same and I wouldn't be asking that very question. The fact I've asked if this tastes like cat p*ss shows I have yet to experience one or both of the options.

Not trolling. It's a genuine question. Does it taste awful or is it any good? Lighten up. It's sunny and all's good.

Compared to something like Fosters, it's about 10 times better and it's fine as a real ale, although a lighter taste as others have said. I mean it comes from the same stable as Old Speckled Hen, do you really expect it to be bad?

Sorry for my flawed logic; but yes, I do quite like the stuff. Go on, try it, you are only risking £1 after all! :-)
Opening post
Great price for 750ml.
