Good to see one of the cinemas trying to attract younger customers, cineworld upped their price by 70p to £2.50 by adding a booking fee. I have posted cineworld offers in the past but wouldn't again, 70p is a shocking amount to book online.

Exactly! Surely the whole point of you doing it yourself & saving their time, their labour, their materials is to keep the prices lower..not whack them up by 50%!!

Nice one, Andy. I would most definitely recommend Pete's Dragon

Yeah, it is good. If you haven't seen Kubo & The Two Strings make sure you do; it's my pick out of that lot, really loved it

My daughter is BFG mad. So she'll be well impressed when I tell her. We took her to watch it and as a result for Christmas we bought her the DVD, a BFG cuddly toy that farts, BFG sticker book, Roald Dahl books & the original BFG cartoon movie on DVD.

Both me and my partner work at Weta Digital out in NZ.. only home for xmas right now and heading back on Tuesday. We get to work on some pretty awesome stuff and the company is great to work for.. currently we have Valerian and Planet of the Apes 3 on the go right now along with some other funky stuff that are hush hush :smirk:

PM me sometime next week and I'll see if there is anything BFG related that is of interest to you, we have the Weta Cave shop that stocks a bunch of stuff along with crew t-shirts and jackets however they can be limited numbers for those so I cant guarantee there will be any available. I think the weta cave has a web store, I can get discount on stuff so if you see something on there I can sort for you.. discount varies per items but generally is around 20%... however postage from NZ may add on a bit depending upon the weight.

Can recommend Pete's Dragon and BFG, but Kubo is outstanding - one of the best films I saw last year. The animation is amazing, great voice acting, and the story heartbreaking.
