Probably worth pointing out that the pressure fit ones shouldn't be used at the top of stairs.
It pays to look at the size, type of fitting and where you'll put them
I was tasked to buy two of a particular sort by my fiancée. When I needed to fit them, they weren't wide enough and I couldn't find extensions.
Definitely not something you can buy on impulse.

I've been using pressure fit for last 8 months and I can honestly say they are solid and won't even budge when shaken fiercely by me and my LO has no chance. hope it helps :-)

I got a pressure fit down in the hallway and a fixed one at the top of the stairs. Both are solid! Reason they say not to use a pressure fit in the stairs is that there is a bar that runs across the floor which is a trip hazard.
We got the standard pressure fit one. Up to 82cm wide and a fixed adjustable width 60-104cm

You can get a pressure fit one from argos for £15 and wall fixed ones for £12.99 too. Same price as mothercare if you get 2 x pressure ones. But cheaper if you want 1 of each or 2 wall fixed.

I still give heat though as mothercare is more convenient for me

Anyone know if you can get cheaper extensions for these than the ones mothercare sell?

The Cheaper one from Argos was OOS in my area and unavailable for delivery. Been hard actually finding a decent price - they all seem rather expensive for what they are
