Cheapest I have seen for years !
I got a couple of joints for our family Sunday roast and asked the butcher to cut some into slices to cook as pork steaks .
I will freeze them in pairs and it will make a lovely cheap and quick dinner

Cut into slices...spot on there... also I do this with good beef joints... steak a plenty :wink:

They had large packs ready sliced at the same price per lilo in my store - quick and easy to pick up and put in your trolly - ,but the advantage of asking the butcher is that you can choose the joint from the counter you want slices from.
They had a very nice lean one which I selected for my slices and the butcher was very helpful and friendly.
