Credit to Greyfox112 for pointing out in my Amazon deal of the same product, it was considerably cheaper @ Speedyhen
£45 as opposed to Amazon's £66.99
Quite a big price difference. Can hukd'ers vouch for Speedyhen as I've not heard of them personally
UK based, 30 day returns policy, free delivery in 2-4 days. Seems pretty good on paper

I have had nothing but issues with this company.
Pre-ordered a few things only to have them cancel and then list at a higher price. Joke of a company.

You're right, 1 order and nothing but issues...
I too have had nothing but issues. I ordered a book that arrived looking like they'd had a quick game of football with it in the warehouse. I sent a nice email. Can you imagine their response? They told me to keep the book, and they will give me a refund! How dare they!? I cannot believe the fantastic service of this company it is a complete (non) disgrace, I can believe they are still in business!

So that's my order now cancelled too. I placed mine pretty much immediately upon this price being highlighted in the Amazon thread (my confirmation email was timed at 6.12pm), so I guess that no-one here's getting the book from SpeedyHen. :disappointed:

It was worth posting due to the off-chance you may actually have gotten it at this price, but unfortunately this company does this time and time again.
I didn't vote hot or cold.

It appears a leopard never changes its spots. Of course you'll get the odd positive review but law of averages dictates that.
The frequency of negative comments should have been warning enough but cheers for the heads up anyway

I don't really order much from Zavvi so no idea...
But seems as so I was right. Sorry guys/girls but I would avoid this company.

I have used book depository before and they have delayed orders indefinitely, and amazon is just as bad with limited print items too, its just a game of chance at this stage.

I can vouch for both stores, though couldn't really say that either was better than the other.

Unsure if I should swap my early amazon preorder with a book depository one I know its cheaper but with places canceling orders I don't want to miss out.

Amazon only charge you after despatch on preorders. You can always pay for the cheaper one you've found first and if it does arrive, cancel or return your Amazon purchase
Again; me personally I've never heard of the book depository either. They look no better or worse than Speedyhen and they obviously just cancelled orders

Forbidden planet took down there stock earlier stating 'the book has been discontinued because of the 10k ww limit. I expect which ever companies are stocking this will over sell and disappoint a lot of people just like the ce of hyrule historia.

Yeah, the cancellation email said
"I regret to inform you that the title you have ordered ( LEGEND OF ZELDA ART & ARTIFACTS) has been unexpectedly popular and we are unable to keep up with the customer demand we have had.
Due to the title being limited edition we are unable to fulfil customers’ orders due to the publisher withdrawing from printing any further copies. For this reason I regret to inform you that we have had no choice but to cancel your order and refund any money taken which I do sincerely apologise for."

They have given me a £5 off next order voucher though, so I'm just going to have to settle with the standard edition, it's going to be a gift anyway.

Cancelled too.
Also had the Twilight Princess collector's edition guide cancelled before.
So far not reliable at all.
Standard version seems in stock and wasn't cancelled. Has a nicer cover and half the price to be fair.

Probably out of stock - not unlikely when this is a limited edition.
FWIW, after many past orders with SpeedyHen, they've always been good for me. On one occasion the book arrived slightly damaged, but they replaced it promptly once I provided a photo.

I've bought from them before plus their faq states it's taken at dispatch. They must have tried to authorise it with a quid or something. They wouldn't actually take the money.

Why would anyone buy this version over the standard one? Standard looks nicer and costs almost 20 quid less.
You're getting a plastic cover which will just get scuffed on a shelf and some gold tinted pages. Not even an art print extra!
