Have been looking for an adapter to run my dash cam and satnav from one socket. This seems a really good deal when looking around - cheapest I can find and 3 year warranty from Lidl.

Got one today. It also has a 1amp USB socket. Unfortunately I'll be taking it back, as it gets in the way of my car's cupholders.

Poundland ones are usually 2 sockets and a USB socket on a short lead rather than a moulded all in one unit..

Serious question, but would anyone take these back if they failed in 2-3 years?? I mean for less than 3 quid. Its great they offer a 3 year warranty but personally unless it failed in the first few months then I would not bother.

Yes also, they've supplied replacements by post very promptly when I've claimed, but take a scan of your receipt as it'll have faded to a completely blank slip in 2 to 3 years!

Guess it depends on the car. I cut the plug off and removed the USB side on mine. I wired it to a fuse doubler so I could hide it in the dashboard for my DashCam. That way I didn't have to cut the cable on the supplied cable so I can move the dashcam easily if I get another car. Removed the USB as I didn't want the USB to be on all the time doing nothing.

Well built but huge, it's too heavy and keeps dropping out of the socket.
