Outstanding price for an OLED, beats most 4K TVs for picture quality and motion.
I recently bought this for £999 to replace a Samsung KS7000 due to motion issues, and this far surpasses that in all ways bar peak brightness. Colours, black levels and motion are considerably better making for a much more pleasurable watching experience.
This is also a very competent TV for gaming, the only negative spec is input lag, which I have never found to be an issue. Gameplay is so much more responsive and smooth on this compared to the KS7000 which is supposed to be one of the best TVs for gaming (but is choppy and jerky down to terrible motion handing).
I had real reservations paying 4K TV money for a 1080p screen, but I can honestly say I don't regret it, unless you are going to pay £1600 plus for 4K OLED (I would if I could), then this really is the best TV for the money. Watching grand tour on this on 1080, was every bit as good as 4K on the Samsung, although a very small amount of visible detail was lost, colours and motion are more important to me. By the time 4K content is readily available I'm sure the 4K OLED tech will be affordable anyway!

People get far too hung up on resolution alone, the picture quality on this is far better than 90% of 4K TVs at this price. Even if your TV was 8K it doesn't guarantee good accurate blacks and colours as well as decent motion handling.

That's me with the 8 yr old 720p plasma! I'm only looking at a new TV because the fancy gizmo technology is out there available, not that I need it or will ultilise all the functions. SD quality is superb and no complaints about 720p HD quality either. Best bit is I keep the £2k in my pocket.

Great TV.

This will always have pixellation error due to big size of the pixels. Watch near it and see squares rectangles, trapezium and other quadrilateral shapes in perfect colour without seeing the actual picture. If you sit far away the mosaic might make sense in its entirety.

Wow! I'd be told off for buying a TV as mine is only about 2 years old but I'm hoping this time next year the current B6 or E6 OLED are this kinda price

If only this were a little smaller :disappointed: I'm looking at 49" max, ideally 43"ish - if anyone has any buy now recommendations (other than sit tight for the post CEX discounting) I would be grateful. Would be happy with non-4k Freeview HD and even non smart if need be. Like this supersized monster.

Just couldnt recommend any new tv that isnt 4k / hdr enabled, even if you have to wait another 12 months for 2016 oleds to come down in price

great price, going to wait a bit longer on the b6 for the hdr, nice to hear thoughts on the ks7000, reviews are so good but i noticed in store the demo was juddering all over the place. Does sd footage look very good on these? Currently on a 42 inch tv so bit worried 55 inch will look to stretched

Hi, as you probably know any SD content isn't going to look amazing at this screen size, although what I can say is that the SD content is far more watchable on this than both 4K TVs I returned. The hisense k5510 I had first was abysmal, the Samsung was also very poor. I would say that SD content looks good, but only good (although SD TV is the only source of this, haven't tried DVDs ect.) HD content looks great though!

Why would you sit close to a 55 inch TV

Heated, good price but if you are interested in 4k Netflix, Amazon, tivo v6, sky Q, xbox one s and PS4 pro you might quickly regret buying one
