Only £30 off but £350 for a 15.6" laptop with 16gb ram, decent amount of hard drive and good quality processor is a bargain.
The amd's are more designed for gaming but still also a fantastic all rounder and a great choice for the price!

Common problem with AMD chips is overheating.

Agreed. My laptop overheats so much that it affects my sound card. And that's an AMD chipset. Would go Intel all day everyday from now on.

some.of them were hot (as some intels too). This is ulv cpu with 19w tdp, won't overheat. i have got two laprops with amd onboard ( hp probook upgraded to a10-5750m and lenovo z50 with fx 7500) , both laptops perform well and cause no issues.

Agreed. Where can I find one? Argos doesn't sell a laptop that matches that description.
At this price point it's completely expected to have a non-ssd hard drive. Also your ssd tends to be much less capacity and in reality, cloud services are not a simple prospect so aren't a good alternative to large drives for many people.

The a10 apparently has a decent on board GPU and I suspect the high memory count is for shared memory with the GPU. Like I said AMD machines tend to gaming a bit more so that would make sense.

Looks like this.
Laptops from £300 should have SSDs now.
