didn't see any but they do mix them up.

I hope these last longer than their previous 5w bulbs.
Mine failed within a few weeks.

Just got some this today. At 470lm they seem bright enough for Led at only 6w

470 lumens is not very bright at all. Comparable to an old 40w bulb at best.

Yes it's a 40w equivalent. Check the CRI and I'll bet they look bad colour wise..

I have had a few of the 4w LED bulbs from Poundland and they do not seem to be as bright as the 4w bulbs I have bought from Screwfix. Definitely wont be buying any more 4W from them but will try the 6W to see if they are better.

LED bulbs seem to be coming down in price now and they really are a major step forward in terms of energy saving. I have 12 of the spotlight type in the kitchen and they burn less energy that just one of the old bulbs.

They are coming down in price but the cheap ones are still rubbish. Buy good brands and you won't be disappointed.. otherwise you probably will.. Truth is the cheap ones have colour rendering the same or worse than the awful compact fluorescent bulbs we've been criticising for decades. The only advantage LED has is fast startup, lack of mercury, and even lower heat output, but in terms of efficiency a good performance LED will actually wind up coming in only about 30% better than a compact fluorescent.
