Great peaty, smokey whisky. Cheapest I've seen it delivered.
Also Laphroaig Select for prime users (slightly more refined after taste).
the blurb..
The original Laphroaig, distilled the same way today as when Ian Hunter invented it over 75 years ago. In making Laphroaig, malted barley is dried over a peat fire. The smoke from this peat, found only on Islay, gives Laphroaig its particularly rich flavour. Those enjoying the 10 Year Old will first notice the bold, smoky taste, followed by a hint of seaweed and a surprising sweetness. This full-bodied variant is the foundation of all Laphroaig expressions and comes with a long finish. Tasting notes: Full sparkling gold in colour. Huge smoke, seaweedy, "medicinal" with a hint of sweetness on the nose. Full bodied body. Surprising sweetness with hints of salt and layers of peatiness on palate. With lingering finish.
Just watched a ralfy review on youtube and a whisky & weapons review, its a big oeaty smack in the chops. Really nice cheap goto whisky

thanks for sharing but if you could put whisky in the title this would flag up for me sooner.

I bought this before Christmas I paid around £18. It really has a most unusual taste almost medicinal. No one really liked it and ended up using it in hot toddy's. It really is an acquired taste.

This is the only whiskey I have ever liked. Don't know what it is. Tastes like burnt trees.

You missed the whole whisky community by not adding whisky to the title. Not for whisky novices , but if you like you love it

Yep. Everyone I work with and all my immediate family have had some sort of cold this winter, were as I have had none. I attribute it too drinking peated whisky which disinfects my body from nasties

I love Laphroaig. By far my favourite whisky, but not one for new single malt drinkers as it is extremely peaty.
