The 1.5/2.5 remix is much better value for sure. And it covers the games in its chronological order and by the time you have beaten them all it will be 2020, 2.8 will be £5 and Kingdom Hearts 3 will still be unreleased.

They offer different games. Honestly I wouldn't buy either for more than £20. And I wouldn't be surprised at all if they postponed KH3 into late 2018 and then release 1.5/2.5 + 2.8 all together in a new thing called "ABSOLUTE FINAL Complete KH Experience -358 days to 2.95 HD Final chapter of Prologue remix remastered!"
I can't support this fanbase milking and all this set up. Just release KH3 already godammit, it's been over 10 years

personally i would play the 1.7 re-release HD remaster birthnap deathsnooze edition first on the gameboy, then hit up the KH 1.79 ultra powernap non-HD 700p mega-remix on the ps3 then maybe the 0.28 deathsleep by birthstone trilogy HD remaster on the PS4, then this, then KH3 if its ever released.

got most of the way through KH1 the first time it was released back on the PS2, then moved away from PS.
With 2.8 on the horizon, can anyone recommend it over this 1.5/2.5 remix? would love to get back into KH now i've a ps4.

Wouldn't bother with 2.8 watched a video on it last night and they said it's was just a tech demo of sorts for 3, they completed in under 3 hours, suppose if you will buy and sell it on/trade it might be worth it.

I'd go with 1.5/2.5 over 2.8 you'll get a lot more bang for your buck

Well that's incorrect 0.2 granted I would say is slightly longer than mgs ground zeroes was but the meat of this pack is dream drop distance which is a proper sequel to kh 2

For people who are fans 2.8 is hard to recommend at £35-£40, DDD is great, but I have played it on 3DS and not keen on paying full price for a movie and 3 hour prequel to KH3, I will wait for a price drop, hopefully around the release of 1.5/2.5, I want to replay them all before KH3 releases.

thanks for the info guys. will wait for KH1.5/2.5 to be on special whilst i try and get back to Final Fantasy-ing. haven't played THAT since FF7 on psOne, although i have attempted to re-run FF6 on many occasions/platforms. damn your Square!

Already have that on my 3DS, so 35 notes for a 3 hour proof of concept and some cinematic is not worth it.
