yeah, I'm trying to get a holiday 1st week in July before the English schools break up, prices are still sky high. October is the same. Looks like its Bogna again! :smiley:

Been some good deals with jet 2. We paid £860 for 2 weeks half board in lanzatote flying out 16th april 2adults 2children and 1 infant- i did post it on here but it didnt even reach 100`. Heat added op.

I'm not sure, the name Fuerteventura puts me off. And that is before i see all the topless english folk with their gut hanging out and shouting as loud as possible at the pool.

We were in Fueteventura last year this time, Costa Caleta, it was busy but quiet. Would go back n a heartbeat. Now 51 and 60+.

It's the cost of the flights from Scotland as soon as the Scottish schools have broken up that really bumps up prices. This holiday taken as soon as the Scottish schools break up (from Edinburgh) is £1,996. When the English schools break up it's £1,972.

You can still get good deals if you are prepared to drive down to English airports other than Newcastle.
