Shouldn't really need any introduction? Classic scent, best price I've seen for a while and free Amazon delivery!

I had EXACTLY the same happen to me.
I got straight on the chat but the customer service guy accused me of putting the cheese on it.

Pretty sure people saying they're selling fakes have bought off a third party seller and are to dim to realise it

Don't buy any fragrance from Amazon there always weak if not fakes. And I use issey always and amazon's is nothing like the real thing from duty free or other official retailers for which Amazon is not one. They remove all negative reviews also stating the truth.

I bought 2 NEW breville sandwich toasters one for me and the other for my brother and both had melted cheese residue inside? Serious gone downhill Amazon! Customer service is second to none but the majority of what I buy from them these days is NOT new? If they've been tampered with they arnt new! They are 'as new' at best, if my toasty machines come with someone else's breakfast mess still inside they are used! If they'd spent 20-30 seconds cleaning it I probably wouldn't have noticed.. go figure? :/
Rant over..
I'll get my coat..

Rubbish! I bought 4 large bottles of this about a year ago at a super cheap price and it was all genuine - I should know, I've been using Issey Miyake for about 20 years! There was a thread on here and the people who bought it were all perfectly happy.

I actually posted first but deleted my comment as I couldn't be bothered with any debates. I've been stung a couple times on Amazon with weak/fake edt. I don't buy from them anymore.

If you can't differentiate between genuine products sold directly from Amazon, and potentially fake items from 3rd party sellers then that's your fault not Amazon's. And don't bother with any "but Amazon sell fakes too!" response - every now and then someone claims this, but will never offer a single shred of proof. Why? Because there isn't any! Amazon do not sell fake goods - if they did, there would be uproar and they would face prosecution (and the media would be having a field day as they'd love to get them for something).
As for "removing negative reviews that tell the truth" - do you have any proof of this?

It's because their C/S are second to none that people take advantage. Use a product, decide they don't like the colour then send it back as new&unused
