I love the Yorkshire Moors and Brontë country and this deal looks brilliant via Travelzoo. From just £89 you can have 2 nights in Westfield Lodge (weekends are extra but even so very good value). This place has fantastic reviews on Tripadvisor too and is walking distance to some great hikes. They also take dogs in certain apartments so may be ideal if you want a break with dogs too.
Blurb from Travelzoo website:
Westfield Lodge is now offering 2-night stays in an apartment for £89 -- it's a perfect base for exploring the West Yorkshire landscape of "wild moorland dissected by deep valleys" (Lonely Planet). This deal saves up to 55% on the usual price.
Haworth village, once home to the Brontë family, is around five minutes' drive away. The Brontë Parsonage Museum occupies the former family home and hosts regular events. You can also catch the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway steam train from Haworth Brontë Waterfall, a unique little waterfall carving its way through Brontë Country moorland, is around 30 minutes' walk from the apartments.
Top Withens -- the old farmhouse thought to be the inspiration for the Earnshaw family's house in Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights -- is less than 30 minutes' walk from the waterfall. The Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are both less than an hour's drive away
What's included
Two nights' accommodation for two in the Agnes Grey, Jane Eyre, Professor, Pendle, Dales or Grouse apartment (accommodation only)
Friday and Saturday are an extra £10 per night (payable direct to the hotel)
Dogs can stay for free in certain apartments (enquire when booking)
Not available on 1-2, 8-9, 14-17 Apr
When
Sun-Thu until 29 Apr; +£10 Fri-Sat
