This is my first deal, so please don't be too rude!
I was looking for a good price on some Fusion blades, and this was the best I could find, especially as it's available online.
The blades work out at £1.77 each which isn't too bad.
The 8 blade packs work out slightly cheaper at £1.72 per blade if you buy 24 blades. 12 blades will last me a year.
The 3 for 2 offer is available on most Gillette blades.
Whilst in relative terms it's a hot deal (heat added) at £1.77 per blade, this is still extortionate on Gillette's part as the real cost of manufacturing these blades is around 10p or let's be generous and increase this 20p. As with printer cartridge exploitation, we as the consumer should not be tolerating this. For this reason I will be sticking to supermarket brands.

Thanks OP well done on posting your first deal
They can usually be found somewhere for about £2/blade so it's a little cheaper. If you are canny and have a few already, look out for when they change packaging/pack sizes etc. especially at ASDA where they will half-price them with no special SEL to clear them out. Had a few lots at below £1/blade that way.

Whilst your sentiment is probably correct, just comparing the cost of manufacturing the product is not very indicative of the TOTAL cost as this is only a very small part of the total. You need to include everything associated with getting the product researched, developed, marketed etc etc etc.
