Nice sauce this, as you probably know. Nice little kick with garlic, normally about a quid more. I think this is to do with their Chinese New Year offerings.

The goose is practically flavourless compared to the rooster by Huy Fong. Sainsburys now stock it for £3 and it's definitely worth paying a little extra for.

Nothing really that contentious. Far Eastern manufacturers use the numbers rather than words because it takes up less room and is a multi-language standard.
I have a bottle of this with a green top (not sure if that makes any difference), I think I bought it from Tesco, it's lovely stuff, I've just added some to some Swedish Quorn balls and spaghetti, yumm :smiley:

Use this to make prison pad thai. Cook a packet of cheap instant noodles chicken flavour; in a bowl mix some siracha with peanut butter in quantities you like; add the cooked noodles and some of the chicken stock, again, to your liking.

Is this the same as the one you can get in Sainsbury? I bought one fro Aldi before and didnt like it as much as Sainsbury one. Sriracha is lovely though, great with Chicken and Chorizo kebabs.

The flying goose brand is in my opinion the best tasting! Have bought many bottles of all the brands as sometimes flying goose brand is hard to get.

Originated in Sri Racha in Thailand, but not a protected origin so knock-offs exist everywhere, including this one. Not bad but nothing like a proper "nam prik" (dipping sauce). If you like this type of sauce then take a look at the Crying Tiger sauce at mythaicurry,com, sheer heaven.
