Nice sauce this, as you probably know. Nice little kick with garlic, normally about a quid more. I think this is to do with their Chinese New Year offerings.

The goose is practically flavourless compared to the rooster by Huy Fong. Sainsburys now stock it for £3 and it's definitely worth paying a little extra for.

Thai pronunciation is C raachaa.
Originated in Sri Racha in Thailand, but not a protected origin so knock-offs exist everywhere, including this one. Not bad but nothing like a proper "nam prik" (dipping sauce). If you like this type of sauce then take a look at the Crying Tiger sauce at mythaicurry, com, sheer heaven.

Nothing really that contentious. Far Eastern manufacturers use the numbers rather than words because it takes up less room and is a multi-language standard.

Try telling a local in Thailand that is where you want to go and expect a blank stare.

The flying goose brand is in my opinion the best tasting! Have bought many bottles of all the brands as sometimes flying goose brand is hard to get.

Is this the same as the one you can get in Sainsbury? I bought one fro Aldi before and didnt like it as much as Sainsbury one. Sriracha is lovely though, great with Chicken and Chorizo kebabs.

Use this to make prison pad thai. Cook a packet of cheap instant noodles chicken flavour; in a bowl mix some siracha with peanut butter in quantities you like; add the cooked noodles and some of the chicken stock, again, to your liking.
