They are selling all the day one DLC for £0.39 each on the PSN store, just an FYI.

pity the game was released about 7 years to late. It would have been 10/10 than, now it's has to compete against way more games which just did a better job so this game is just average.

Got any specific examples? And you talking about better rpgs or just better games in general?

There a ton a games better than this one, the main story line isn't bad it just isn't great. It feels short an rushed. They tried to extend the game with side quests but i guess to looked at the wrong games for that because the side quests in FF XV are the worse i have seen in a long time, when doing the side quest it feels like i am just doing MMO side quest, fetch this kill this and there is no story behind doing that, somebody just says do it and you do it once complete they say thank you and that is it there is no story in the side quests at all and they are just there to bloat the game. I am normally a person who does every side quest even the boring ones but after about 10 hours of fetch this and kill this i just got really bored and didn't do any other side quest anymore. This is also the reason i said if it came out 7 years ago before the witcher 2 came out not long after fallout 3 came out. The thing is final fantasy could be an amazing open world game actually it was originally an open world game just look at ff 7,8,9 they had a massive world map and you needed to travel from place to place and you got vehicles to do that at some point in the game. Furthermore, each of these even 10 did not require side quest to bloat the game they were 30 hours min to finish and if you wanted to extra stuff there was enough extra stuff to keep you busy for many more hours. However, in this game the main story could be completed in 14 to 16 hours and if you rushed it even faster. Next to this the game is dam easy, i only died once at the last battle i still don't understand how that happens but for the rest of the game didn't die once, in older ff i use to die all the time and had to do some boss fights many times, this is not the case for this game. Positive thing is i love the combat system in this one, however, if there to many enemies it just turn into button mashing as targeting is not that great nor is the camera. It unfortunate this game took 10 years to make and better games have already been released i had really hope that they would go back to the routes.

One thing really did irritate me this is a final fantasy and you are fighting monsters, however the main skills of the 4 characters are fishing, cooking, survival, photography what does this have to do with monsters or fighting

really appreciate the full response! I've not read a review of this FF so good to understand how it compares unfavourably to previous versions. I was wondering if you were meaning fallout and the witcher. As it happens I've been playing Fallout 4 most of the day! loving it so far. Will go back to Witcher 3 once finished. You didn't mention MGS V, if you've not tried it give it a go. Feels very much like an RPG now. Particularly when you compare the base building stuff with Fallout 4. Thanks again.
