Voted hot and a good price. ( It's not reduced from49.99 although they put as rrp. Average price (according to 3 camels) is £22.36)

Great bin, couple of problems though.
1. As the bin bag fills up, it creates a vacuum which makes it very hard to pull the bag out, sometimes snagging the bag and tearing

I know what you mean, but I've had one of these bins for a couple of years and provided you use heavy duty bags you're fine.

Make a hole or a couple of holes at the bottom of the bin (the inner plastic bit). That'll let air in when removing the bag.

One thing I could never figure out is how to fit a bag. I fit it in place by overlapping the top ring, if that makes any sense. And yeh, my next bags will be heavy duty. The type I've been using for years is no good for this bin.

These bins are reduced all the time because they're crap and in no way, shape or form are they worth even remotely close to £50.
You can solve the vacuum problem to an extent by drilling a hole on the back near the bottom.
What you cant solve is the absolutely ridiculous lid design that, as someone else has said, makes no sense.
I said in another deal for these that i eventually got fed up and snapped the lids off the 2 I got - they were annoying me that much. I just use them with open tops now.

What's wrong with the lids? I've had one of these for ages and never had a problem.

it has like 3 layers to the lid, the touch flap, the inner ring, then the outer housing ring. both these rings pop up when you lift the bin bag out which just gets caught and in the way puncturing the bag. I only kept mine because it looks good, takes little space and contains any smell. but Id vote it 3/10 for ease of replacing the bag.
also, the lid doesn't always close, which is annoying.

can't tell the price from this post but these were £17 in Tesco last week. Also they have two holes in the bottom before ppl go drilling more.

I've got this bin and have had no such issue. I pass the top of bin bag through the inner ring, wrap it round the inner ring and then put it in place in the bin tucking in any overhanging bin bag into the bin. Then I replace the outer housing ring with the lid. To remove the bin bag, I simply open the top housing, slip off the inner ring and pull the bag out. I have had added drill holes to the bottom of the black spine on the back as others have suggested.

You've clearly been using it incorrectly

Exactly this

just to add, the bin ive been commenting about must be an older model. the one in the deal link has a curved PUSH area and a slanted lid. the model I have (from Argos/ Asda) has a flat PUSH area and a flat lid. so the difference in all the comments must be between the different models?
