Caledonian Brewery's Three Hop Craft lager is available in Home Bargains for 65p for a 355ml bottle.
Hadn't tried it before, but it's nice. It's just got enough fizz in it so you can easily deck the whole bottle in one go if you fancy it.

Every time I see these offers our store never has them despite it being a big store. Heat anyway.

thats like my other half she won't buy a bottle without checking the apv! for me if I like it I drink it, surely it's about flavour, or we can all go and get some Aldi white lightning clone at 7%apv!

When I lived in Cardiff, the local corner shop used to sell 500ml cans of Monster Brew which came in at a heady 10.8%. Don't know whether it's allowed these days.
Also, was very disappointed when I went to buy some Gold Label in Tesco the other day. I'm sure it used to be around 14.7%, but these days it's only 7.5%.

described as having 'spicy mint aromas, herbal then lingering lemony aromas'. it did genuinely taste quite minty just as you started drinking it (as in mint sauce) and it had a generally 'weird' herbal taste. i didnt get on with it at all though i did like the sister bottle 'coast to coast' which was more of an american ipa. from the name 'three hop' i was hoping for something more like the coast to coast.
if you are into more floral/herby drinks this might be right up your street.

Yeah Coast to Coast is very decent IPA type of beer, this is definitely an acquired taste. Guess that's why it's in Home Bargains!
