In my opinion Band of Brothers is the best mini-series/box set ever produced.
£13.69 delivered is the best price I can find by far today.

"All ten episodes of the award-winning mini-series based on the real-life experiences of American paratroopers who fought in Europe during the Second World War. From their training in Camp Toccoa, Georgia, through their landing in Normandy as part of the D-Day offensive, their participation in the Battle of the Bulge, and all the way up to the final surrender of the German forces, the series follows the adventures of Easy Company, a unit noted for its skill and bravery, but which also suffered a high number of casualties in its journey across Europe. Each episode also features excerpts from actual interviews with surviving members of the company."

Agree, it's truly one of the best ever mini series that's ever been created and one of the very few series I can watch more than once.

End of the last episode I cry, yes cry. I've watched the entire series multiple times, never finished the end with dry eyes. Gets me every time

Got it used for less than £7 from Music Magpie a couple of months back and finally got around to watching it this weekend. Superb show. Particularly the last two episodes.
For this price it is well worth it too.
Though getting the discs out is a bit cumbersome, I don't know if the cardboard version of this is any easier.

One of the best TV series' on Blu-ray, in my opinion. Entirely worth getting, and far better than The Pacific (which I couldn't get through if I'm honest).

Yes the Pacific was such a massive disapointment for me, I subscribed to Sky Movies just to see if first time round (Sky were cheeky putting it on a Movie Channel) - but I could not get into it with the entirely forgettable characters and disjointed storylines.

Believe it or not this is pretty much what I paid for it not long after its release. I got very lucky though. Still need to finish rewatching it.

I paid full price for this on DVD when it first came out. I have NEVER felt disappointed at paying full price. Yet I feel hard-dun-by when there’s a price drop on any other purchase years later. Everybody should watch this, it is that good.
