The first three books of the Alex Cross series are available for 99p each. Never read them before but took a punt as I've heard good things. Can't really go wrong for a quid.

Each one is 99p too much. Every book is the same. Generic fluff. Half the time Patterson doesn't even write them, he just rents his name out.

Agree with the sentiment of others. The first 3 are pretty decent books though.
