This is a decent panel, I've been using one for 11 months.
Note it was this price last year, now showing as end of life on Scan.
The one I got doesn't have HDMI (it only has DVI and Display port) even though the model number is identical so you may want to check that before ordering.

Isn't 24" too small for a 4k monitor to use at the native resolution?

You have to have REALLY young eyes/good eyesight to use this size screen at a 4K resolution; even 27" is a bit small.

I suspected as much. I'm hoping that the budget TV manufacturers will eventually bring out 4k TVs in the 28"-32" size range so I can use one of them primarily as a monitor.

No you don't.
Anyone who does any sort of graphic design, 3D modelling etc. will benefit from this. 27in is probably a better size, but 24 is by no means pointless or bad.

not if you run it in HiDPI

this monitor is in "End Of Life" so it's no longer made.
Suppose it is cheap, but 24" is jus tiny for 4k

my face in like 2 foot away from the monitor, why would I need 40" for that?

I have this monitor and its perfect for gaming. with AA set to 0 you dont see any jagged edges at all plus you can set windows scaling to 125% so icons and text is bigger. Text is so much smoother. Worth every penny.

60Hz and 6ms... it doesn't sound that good on paper.

I had a 4k 24" dell and I could 100% tell. Amazing is all I can say. However if the HDMI isn't 2.0 do not buy for the PlayStation Pro. True 6ms unlike lots of other monitors that claim 1ms.
