Aldi's take on Leffe Blonde (and a very good one it is too) is now down to £1 per 750ml bottle. It was originally £2.49 for a 750ml bottle, then £1.99 a couple of weeks ago before being reduced to £1 this week.
I bought 20 and will probably go back for more. Lovely stuff.

Nothing to do with Aldi. La Goudale is found all over France, a cheapish supermarket standard often found in 500ml tins.
But you're bang on the money, at £1 a bottle absolute deal.

Fair play. Had never heard of it but it looks and tastes like those 750ml bottles of Leffe blonde so presumed it was a close copy. I bought it last week at £1.99 and thought it was an OK price (definitely cheaper than the Leffe) so this is a fantastic deal.

the proper French stuff is 7.2%, I have 36 bottles under stairs - 3 bottles have a head like a new born baby lol

It has nothing to do with beer.

Was looking for this today (last time I saw it, it was £1.99) but all gone. Nice beer for £1

4.5 units or just over the equivalent of 2 pints of normal strength beer for £1, what's not to love?

Why do you say that, johnnyhilton? Just because you don't like it doesn't mean others won't. I LOVE it, it's the nicest beer I have had in my whole life. It's better than the leffe to me. But I don't expect everyone else to feel the same. We all have taste buds that work slightly differently.
