do they taste ok??? serious question...I'm a 'stickler' and cannot bring myself to buy fish fingers that don't say 'haddock or cod'...is the fish nice and white???

These taste the same as all the other fish fingers I've eaten. Bought a few boxes of the 20pk when they were 99p @ Tesco. These are pollock I think.

To be honest they taste the same with white flaky fish a lot of fish fingers these day have Alaska pollock even though they are cod fish fingers.

I can definitely taste the difference between cod and pollock. Cod fish fingers taste better oven cooked and pollock better fried in my opinion. I like the haddock ones too and find them less 'fishy' than cod.
