Today I saw Double packs of Jaffa cakes (24 in total) for 39p at Heron foods! It is only the dark chocolate ones that are 39p per box. The normal milk chocolate ones are £1. I don't have a pic as was in a rush but will add a picture tomorrow when I go by that store
Just letting you know i realised it's actually Cadburys dark chocolate Jaffa cakes not Mcvities :-)

Ok people after Herekittykitty comment above, I've not been to the shop yet but I've discovered through looking at pictures online it's actually the Cadburys 24 pack of Jaffa cakes. Not the mcvities brand. Sorry for the mistake guys, I was rushing around when I saw it and just saw Jaffa cakes on the box. (I thought that was a brand of mcvities but obviously not if cadburys can call em the same) still I think it's just as good :innocent:

Check those use by dates people.
Wouldn't surprise me if they went off last year. Heron don't seem phased by the legality behind "best before or use by"

They do not sell anything out of date. They are not allowed to sell anything out of date. If you find anything that is out of date tell the staff and they will immediately take them off the shelf and replace. They do date checks everyday so they should never be missed. Our local never miss them. All herons should be the same. Also they order everyday and there is no way the stock that comes in would be out of date. It's packed and monitored.

Out of interest, when is the use by on any packs that people have bought? Most food they commonly sell is usually a month or even a week or two off!

Thats why it's so cheap. And please note It's not a use by date it's a best before date :-) I'm not gonna put em in my cupboard to sit there for 6 months so best before dates don't affect me
