Just received an email to advise of GBKs January promotion. 2 x burgers for £12 until 15th Jan
It has been 2 for £10 in the past but last couple of times it's been 2 for £12
You need to download the app via the get deal link and show in store
Christmas, complete. New Years, done. But as the festivities fade, we're here to kick start 2017 and help you stroll into work with a spring in your step. How? Burgers.
If your NY's resolution is to 'eat more burgers' we're gonna get on just fine. Whilst others are hitting the gym and downing green juice, we're making it easier to beef up with 2 burgers for £12*. Eat in, takeaway, the choice is yours, all you need to do is download the GBK app and find a burger buddy.
In need of a bit of a veg hit? You are in luck, find your inner peas with our new special the Veg-Out Burger. It's a perfect blend of sweet potato, pea & feta croquettes, grilled aubergine, chermoula yoghurt, Cajun relish, garlic mayo and salad. A great way to get a little more veg into your diet after the turkey-enhanced festive season. It's easy peasy, and included in the 2 for £12 offer.
So leave that cook-book you got from Auntie Mavis at home and help us beat the Jan blues with burgers.
*Upgrade to a Resident Hero burger for £1.50 per burger. Additional terms & conditions apply

Agreed. 2 for £10 would have been a hot deal I think
That said, if you like burgers, try their Major Tom. It's a 30 day aged beef patty. Normally £11 but 2 for £12 with a friend is not too bad
One of the few burger chains to offer a aged beef patty and do it well. Burger Bear Tom is the best burger in London but don't think we'll get any offers anytime soon

It includes all burgers except The Mighty and Create your Own.
Are you trying to place an online order? If so, go into the App, click Rewards under the menu on top left
Then select 2 for £12 from reward section. Scroll down there's a Redeem Now button. Click that and you can place online order with the promotion included

Right I've figured it out
Add the two burgers to your basket. Go to checkout and select the button that says 'Add Loyalty Reward'
Select that and it brings up Free Side on mine, swipe across and you'll come to 2 for £12. Add that loyalty reward and it brings the total down to £12
Talk about jumping through hoops

Your text here
as you can see from picture reward is added
Hmmm odd. As you can see; it's working on mine. Perhaps get rid of that bag item. It might not allow 2 promotions
Failing that, if you email or tweet them. They'll sort it out pretty quick

Its not a bag i think its based to location not all burgers are 2 for 12 and some are only part of discount in this offer

I assure you the only burgers excluded are the mighty and create your own. The only locations excluded are GBK kidzania(??) and The 02 & Birmingham world resort during events. I've checked t&cs
I've also tried the burgers you are getting at all different locations and it works
If you can be bothered; tweet or email them and they'll sort it.
Sorry to go on but if you want this deal, you're definitely entitled to it so shouldn't miss out due to an app technical glitch

Got turned away from GBK yesterday because they were having an inspection and they were behind on schedule. The restaurant wasn't even a third full. Completely unrelated to the value of the deal but shocking customer service and a bizarre policy. Told us we would have to wait 30 minutes for a table and we couldn't even sit down for a drink.

Was that an inspection by the EHO by any chance? Last time I had a burger at GBK it was raw in the middle. Salmonella anyone?

Not bad burgers, cheap enough at 6 quid.
Why does everyone want you to download an app to get a discount these days, though? It's obviously going straight in the bin after one use, so I don't really understand what the point is...

I used to work for a Derby based catering butcher called Fairfax Meadow.
This company supplies all GBK's patties,@ around 50 pence per pattie.
Take from that what you will.
