zyxel stuff fails constantly, expect them to last maybe 3-6 months then just die. Sure you can get them replaced but better to just buy a different brand.

Untrue...Zyxel products are very well made. In fact they oem to a lot of well-known high street names.

you've just been lucky, it's completely true. Google it, experienced it myself. Zyxel powerline adapter fail constantly, they are terrible quality.

I've also had a terrible experience with them, 2 diff products, multiple replacements due to hardware failure.
this was some time ago though and I have avoided then since

Same mine was a few years ago. Maybe they've improved since. They took about 3 months to replace them under warranty too. Completely pointless since I obviously had to replace them instantly. Just ebayed them when they finally arrived and never touched the brand since.

Which is interesting as my TPLink powerlines have worked fine for years! You pay your money etc...

Just returned a set, I totally agree with the comments if a product fails and lets you down then you don't recommend. All fair comments on the thread.

It's probably more to do with the power supply. I blame that French electricity we keep importing...

I find powerline adapters hit and miss. my old tp ones pa 211 died around 3 years. blown capacitor. common issue with powerline adaptors. I expect them to last at least three years.
