Here is a current flash sale of the new triple driver xiaomi hybrid which looks the same as the normal dual driver hybrid but has a more matte look.
Also has a in-line mic with buttons which work for Android only as far as I am aware and has to be the cheapest triple driver earphones you can buy.

I own the Xiaomi dual driver hybrids earphones which bought back in February and they still work great considering I use them everyday.

I had 2 pairs of the Piston's and both failed on me after 6 weeks. At least they were only around a tenner

Must of been fakes, chinese sites are hit and miss for selling genuine xiaomi stuff. Mine is still going strong after 8 months, can't even begin to tell how abused they were throughout this period.

I had a pair last me well and they have gone through the wash! Xiaomi definitely make decent stuff in my books. I have destroyed lots of buds in my time as well, particularly sennheiser, so this durability is welcomed

I have the piston 2 and the piston 3 and both are still going strong after 2-3 years of use and abuse (several hours per day).
The only thing is with mine headphones the play/pause works well for the most part, but sometimes have to double click it a few times in order to get it to work (almost like it's gone to sleep or something)

I love the original hybrids they made, gonna research these.
the piston 3s were poor compared to piston 2 and hybrid. too plasticky.

I've been using these for a while now. Just buying a new pair. Solid performance, great fit (they might look odd but the design seems to work) and crazily cheap.Panasonic

You can get the KZ ATR for £3.99 on Gearbest or the KZ ZST for £9.87.
They are both very well received on headfi.
The ZST is a dual driver with a V shaped sound and detachable cables.
The ATR is a single driver with a more balanced sound.
I've got them both on the way to add to my 15+ chifi collection.

Some headphones *cough* apple *cough* leak more than others, I was wondering what these were like.

I have had Piston 3's for about 6 months. They have been durable but the sound has been disappointing considering how hyped they were, there is no bass whatsoever and I'm not bass head. Do these Hybrid Pro's perform better, especially with bass?

Hi, not sure if relevant now;
To answer your question, no, they don't perform better with bass. They're quite bass light headphones actually, but if you're willing to put some sticky tape over the vents behind the nozzles, the bass apparently becomes very prominent. Out of the box though, no. To be honest, quite a few reviews I've read of these have been disappointing, needing very simple but necessary mods to bring it to standard. For £25 you can get the MDR-EX650's which have a better bass response imo
