Earth has changed. Twenty years have passed since world leaders offered an unconditional surrender to alien forces and XCOM, the planet’s last line of defense, was left decimated and scattered. Now the aliens rule Earth, building shining cities that promise a brilliant future for humanity on the surface, while concealing a sinister agenda below and eliminating all who dissent from their new order.
Only those who live at the edges of the world have a margin of freedom. Here, a force gathers once again to stand up for humanity. Always on the run, the remnant XCOM forces must find a way to rise from the ashes, expose the insidious truth behind the occupation, and eliminate the alien threat once and for all.

I have XCom 2 since they released it, and it was initially awful and unplayable. The usage of resources was unacceptably high and it had no support for remote controls which is also unacceptable. The previous XCom games were so well balanced that they really messed up with this one.
After their release to XBox and PS4 a few weeks ago, I thought of giving it another chance. It still is heavy on resources, but they have reduced the exaggerated lag and framerate problems a lot. There is still (I'm shocked) no official remote control, even though the same game has already been released for XBox and PS4!!! But the Steam Controller does *just* fine. And with *just* fine I mean terribly worse than XBox's controller, but at least you can do.
I thought the steam controller setup worked well. Although admittedly I didn't use it much as I prefer to play this at monitor rather than a TV. Despite the performance issues it's still a fantastic game. One of the best of 2016. Just remember that a clutch 90% chance is basically a guaranteed miss .

£15 is a good price for this game. Not more.
They said they added standard controller support. I haven't tried it though. It's worth adding that Steam added support for the ds4 as well for those that prefer that.
