The annual sale. Used to be fantastic with meals for £1.99 and 99p pints. Never as good now but still some savings. Prices will vary by location so do post here if you've seen a poster up in your branch advertising prices.

Seek and ye shall find lol.
We are reducing our prices on a wide range of drinks, during 3–18 January inclusive (and 4–18 January, inclusive, in Scotland) – and your favourites are likely to be included.
“Department stores and shops hold their sales in January, so it is the perfect time to have a sale in the pub too,” says John Hutson, Wetherspoon’s chief executive. “The range of drinks on sale in the pub is aimed at suiting a wide variety of tastes – and I believe that the January sale will prove popular with customers.”

Doesn't your throat get dry? I guess you'd be ok as long as you were having something like curry.

Sorry guys but I've seen the prices and they are nothing like the days of the 99p bitter and £1.99 meals. They are literally between 10 and 20p off normal price's.

I wouldn't drink in weatherspoons if the drinks were free and they paid ME.

I'll have yours then. :stuck_out_tongue:
Thank God for a proper sale and not sofas, holidays, clothes or reduced Xmas cr4p!
I'll be there tomorrow.
My local has been having a bit of a sale and I've been drinking Innis and Gunn bottles for only £1.49.

Never have noticed any stink in my branch. Granted, clientele is not the posh one snobs, but it sort of suits me, thank you very much. Pint and decent meal for two below £17 is right up my street.
Been in many places where you are not sure of getting anything back from tenner for 2 pints which serve some warm luke purporting to be a beer....
Probably some branches are worse/better than others but it doesn't mean all are bad and rotten.

I do try to make a point of not drinking there if I can avoid it. Nothing to do with snobbery and more to do with how they treat their staff regarding work conditions and respect. Their staff turn over is unbelievable for a reason.

Decent quality food and drink at a low price point. Comparing spoons with pubs that charge twice the price is irrelevant, like comparing greggs and Gordon Ramsey. It has a purpose
