Scott Redington had always wanted to be a policeman. The transition of coming from a quiet rural county and joining the Metropolitan Police was greater than he had anticipated, however it seemed a lot harder when he transferred out of the capital and went back to the countyside.
This is his humorous account of an officers working life in 80's London and follows Constable Redington as he comes to terms with a somewhat quieter life back in a rural Police Force where he joins an Armed Response team and carries out Royalty protection duties.
