just put £1 into the custom payment amount on humble bundle https://www.humblebundle.com/tycoon-simulator-bundle
and get the 2016 version - it is the same game anyway and all the extras work with it - they just change the date on the box each year anyway - the base game is exactly the same as the 2017 version !

I noticed you cant buy 2016 on steam and the 2017 version on steam states that it was released in 2009. What does the humble bundle key redeem as then 2016 or 2017 as they are just a number change and all DLC is there on steam?

Does this simulate the misery of commuting in the South East at the moment, if it does I am in.

There was going to be a london-midland pack, but it got cancelled at the last minute with no explanation. ;-)

My son decided to run from London to Brighton using a maintainance unit that has a top speed of about 20mph - should take him about 5 hours real-time. Still better than the service the unions are crippling...

It redeems as Train Simulator - no date/year on mine - that's so that the company can release the same game year on year and just change the date and occasionally throw in some DLC to make the deal sweeter - seriously though, buying the bundle one saves you money and means if you want to purchase DLC you spend more money on it later (you get some DLC with this purchase as well as the base game engine) - just beware this company has DLC that runs into the thousands of pounds - as they have so much of it (they kept most of it out the the game for this purpose)

It's the same game every year. Of course on steam you can buy the complete dlc bundle for £3000!!!!!!
It's a terrible program with so many dependencies on other dlc. Imagine if you bought Titanfall and then needed halo etc to make it run. With ts for example you may spend £30 on some dlc only to find you need to buy many other pieces of dlc to make it work. And then to make other pieces of dlc work you need to buy more.
Train simulator on pc is the biggest gaming rip off of all time
