I'm a student from Manchester which studies in Leeds. The cheapest possible way of traveling to and from said destinations is possibly this deal I found. You must enter 'Manchester Victoria' as either your departing station or arriving station and 'Leeds' vice versa. You will be given train times in which you must scroll through and find the £3 trains. Northern advance tickets are usually available the night before at the same price so no need to book till the day before travel. The trains take around 30-40 mins longer than a usual transpenine train but considering the money you're saving if you was to take the journey often its well worth it in my opinion. Note that you must get the train you select and these are not anytime tickets. If you miss your train you will not be eligible for a refund. Overall this has saved me quite a bit of money as a the journey would usually cost around £20.

Take it you're not a student in English studies then ! '....which studies in Leeds' - might be better as '...who studies...' Not wanting to be the spelling/grammar police - just having a laugh whilst having a glass or two of prosecco ( yes indeed - overweight, drinking too much per today's press !) Hot deal and happy Christmas

Thanks for the heads up, really good information. I studied at Leeds (Northern) Film School - very happy times, excellent place. Presumably a rail card will reduce the cost even more, but what a great saving.

It's not the only error, there are many others and don't be so arrogant!

Deals was funny and friendly but ironically you are a student unwilling to learn.
So the least you should do is apologise for your rude reply or if that's beyond you we are happy for the ignoramuses to remain as such

Takes over 30-45mins extra not 20mins although it's more of a Scenic route than the faster route. No seat with the reservation, choose any seat. Northern advance tickets on some routes are usually available the night before at the same price so not always the need to book till the day before travel...
