There's a couple of reviews on Amazon complaining About the audio. Can anyone tell me if it is as bad as suggested?

it's kind of annoying at first - mostly noticeable with the first season and the intro. It's all just a bit higher pitched and more squeaky but you honestly get past it and forget

maybe less noticeable if you've not watched it before but coming from someone who has seen each season many times, avoid this

I agree, this is a show I watch time and time again but I can't watch it on DVD because of the high pitched audio.

"save" £70 from the made up rrp price that nobody has ever charged. Season 1-7 are brilliant, skip to the finale after that as seasons 8-9 are just filler.

Both great, but as with any show that has this many seasons, the US version has massive dips in quality.
