This collector's edition Steelbook includes DVD and Blu-ray.
Fascinating and imaginative The Company of Wolves, directed by Neil Jordan (The Crying Game, Interview with a Vampire) brings together the timeless Little Red Riding Hood and werewolf fables with a haunting, compelling, eerie and erotic difference.
This movie is a magical bag of symbolic folklore about werewolves or rather their sexual connotation. Grandmother Angela Lansbury tells her granddaughter Sarah Patterson, disturbing tales about innocent maidens falling in love with handsome, heavily eyebrowed strangers that have a smouldering look in their eyes. She also tells her of sudden disappearances of spouses when the moon is round and the wolves are howling in the woods. Starring Angela Lansbury, Sarah Patterson, Graham Crowden, Brian Glover, Kathryn Pogson, Stephen Rea, Tusse Silberg.
Nominated for four BAFTA® awards including Best Costume Design, Best Make-up Artist, Best Production and Best Special Visual Effects the movie is a visual feast with timeless appeal.

One of my all-time favourite films. Nice Blu-ray transfer and a lovely Steelbook too, can't go wrong for £5.

Watched this as a kid in the 80's. Appreciate it more now and sfx was really great (before cgi).

The trouble with these steelbooks is I don't want to open them! Sterling work as usual!
