Love Kale in a smoothie BUT after I try to cook it (boil/stir fry/steam) for 5+ mins, it still tastes Raw!?!?! Is it me or is it supposed to taste raw (ish) after cooking???

I love kale, my method of cooking is in a wok (or large frying pan) spray with frylight or other light oil. After min or two add 100-150 ml of stock. Lid on and steam for few minutes until wilted.

Personally, I sauté kale with garlic for about 5 minutes and then add a splash of water, pop the lid on and wait for it to finish off. I then take the lid back off, cook any excess moisture out and dress with lemon juice. No idea if this is the proper way to cook it, but it works for me!

You like it raw in a smoothie but don't like it cooked because it tastes raw... go figure
