I'm no connoisseur of chapatti flour but the 5kg I got in Lidl a couple of months back makes superb "Best of Both" bread when mixed with white flour. Never quite works on its own, wholemeal is a tough one to bake.

Just on dry pan on stove. Turn when just starting to cook, flip and fully cook other side then flip back to first side and cook fully whilst gently pressing - this will make them inflate to the softest 'pattis

this is dirt cheap, have some heat op. I'd also recommend Elephant brand.
