Seen a few of these posted before, not my cup of tea but I've used Mad Sheep for a couple of Skodas in the past along with my Jag XF.
£86.17 per month inc VAT with no lump sum up front for 10,000 miles per annum.
Total price £2428.08 inc fees for the 2 years.

I quite like them. I went from always driving big cars (mainly 4x4's) but as the kids have got older and started driving I changed to a Fiat 500 Arbarth which is a great little car, fantastic to park anywhere and a nice turn of pace when you need it.
Horses for courses, but I can see the appeal of a small, fuel efficient car. Also 95% of the time it's just me in the car anyway, so 2 seats isn't a problem.

They are both anonymous and made it quite clear that it was leased, on a good deal too by all accounts for a car of that spec. Hardly a major brag.
Seems there are a few insecure people online tonight.

Processing fee £360. Why not just put it on the price. Like theatre tickets. Ripoff
Mr No to Bobef90

Because the processing fee is not part of the actual hire agreement?
8 years and you've posted no deals? Now that is a rip-off.

You must be looking for the 'psychic HUKD online insurance broker'. How the heck could anyone know what it would cost for you to insure. So you are a female, and have no insurance history!?!?!? Need so, so, so much more information.

Considering paying up front costs for this for my daughter. Will be her first car. She doesn't like the look of it but at that price it's pretty cheap motoring. I would be surprised to see £537 for insurance though.

25 Dec 16#43
Are you a bit dim? The contract is between the customer and the underwriter, the processing fee is nothing to do with this.
Bobef90
25 Dec 164#44
If you don't pay the processing fee you don't get the car.
Call it by whatever name you like. No payment .. No car.
As for being dim and other comments ..your attitude and arrogance belongs in the playground.

26 Dec 16#45
Absolute nonsense! Calling someone dim for this reflect very badly on your attitude, when you are the one who got this wrong. Good of you to post deals, but include all fees in the future.
Mr No
26 Dec 16#46
How am I wrong? The processing fee goes to the broker, the contract is between the customer and the finance underwriter. Seems like somebody else is a bit dim also.
Open your eyes too, the fee is included in the original post.
Matt007
26 Dec 16#47
£2408.08 / 24 = £100.33. That is the overall monthly cost right? So that should be the headline cost when calculating.
Mr No to Matt007
26 Dec 16#48
You said to include the fee, the fee was included in the total cost.
You've failed to display your immense understanding of a hire agreement and how the broker's processing fee can be included too. Fire away.
Matt007
26 Dec 161#49
Not really. When posting deals like this one should add all the costs and give an overall monthly figure, not just the headline figure the marketing people want the audience to see. There are people who don't understand how it works and require a step by step calculation.
I'm currently on 36months lease for an Audi A1. Say it is on £200 a month, but there is a processing fee of £500, so it isn't £200 a month overall right? Or am I wrong??
Mr No to Matt007
26 Dec 16#50
Did you include your broadband subscription and electricity costs too? Bit of an oversight if you're being so inclusive.
Why do you keep ignoring the "Absolute nonsense!" explanation in regard to how the broker's fee is nothing to do with the finance underwriter?
Matt007
26 Dec 16#51
The nonsense was on the overall total monthly fee figure.....like someone said can call it whatever fee they like, its still add to the overall monthly cost to the consumer.
It would also help to say insurance and yearly servicing cost not included, when its maybe apparent to u, but many people don't know how it works and they get asked a lot.
Mr No to Matt007
26 Dec 16#52
Do you include the cost of your phone/tablet/laptop/sofa/house to the monthly cost also, as without these it could be tricky to process the deal and some of the aforementioned users might be confused about this.
Mr No
26 Dec 16#53
Wrong, you replied with "absolute nonsense" whilst quoting my post stating that the processing fee is nothing to do with the underwriter there was no mention of the total cost in that post. Explain how this is "absolute nonsense".
Matt007
26 Dec 162#54
Not getting into a silly argument with u, only referencing on a more detail breakdown cost as many people don't understand how leasing works - what's included and what not etc.
Btw Merry festive season to u ;-)
