Perfect replacement for the ad supported version of the ZenMate VPN Chrome extension. I only want Chrome to use the VPN, not the entire computer.
Having installed the Windscribe Chrome extension YouTube videos start to play instantly on 1080p and Speedtest.net shows 33Mbit down and 1.9Mbit up, which is basically as fast as my Talk Talk fibre can go on the shoddy old phone wire.
VPN locations available in the Windscribe Chrome extension: USA (3), Canada (2), France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, UK and Hong Kong
All other countries are disabled.

I tried ZenMate one time too, several months back (about 8+ months back or so?), it was a proper pain! (for me anyway ... ) lol. I ended up soon uninstalling it, only 1 or 2 days later. It's possible I doubtless understood the concept of how to use it properly? (or as well as you undoubtedly did at the time still?). :-)
