4GB doesn't make much of a difference over 2GB in most games, but the price is good.

An upgrade would be the RX 480 not 460.

Got to disagree with the OP - 4GB at this price is a big, big deal - many games require you to drop down to medium quality textures for 2GB. This is even more of a big deal when the GTX 1050 (non-Ti) doesn't have four gigs.

I stand by my statement that it doesn't make much of a difference in most games.

Would it be worth upgrading a EVGA GTX 760 2gb for this?

That's not really a question.
How much money can you spend on a GFX card?
I personally think the sweet spot is the 1060 6gb, but that's 210-220.
The 1060 3Gb is really good too at 185, it spanks the 470, but if you want the 8gb of VRAM for piece of mind, you may be turned off by 3gb of VRAM. I personally don't think 1080p gamers would notice, but I understand the hesitation.
The 470, at 140, doesn't exist right now. The cheapest is about 180, and that's if you avoid most of the conversion fees from Amazon.Fr. Or if you get the overclocker's card with free shipping (member only I think).
So, yeah, the question is 460 at 95, 470 at 180, or 1060 at 185/220.

So then the question is, this at £95 or rx470 at £140?

1050ti at £135 vs 470 at £140 you would be absolutely mad to get the ti, but you'd be hard pressed to find the 470 for £140 still. I think this deal is better than any 1050 and a 470 at £140 is fantastic.

It's just one those things...
buy this card for £95, pay an extra £40 and get 1050ti, pay another extra £40 and get RX 470, heck why not pay another extra £40 on top of all that and get a RX 480... you can keep paying that extra to get more. You have come here looking at a £95 card but now thinking about a card double the price!
Outline your budget and get the best you can within that budget. In my case my budget was £150, I ordered a new 1050ti for £135 after having bad luck on eBay with a dead GTX 680.
Of course I say all this just to make myself better about the order I just placed.

£135 sounds a bit much for one of those GTX 1080 Ti's
anyone know how good 1050 ti 4gb is compared to this ???

The 1050 is £15 more than this card and isn't really noticeable faster, the 1050TI is about £45 more and is considerably faster than the rx 460, make 1080p Gaming at high/ultra a possibility when it isn't with the 460/standard 1050.
The rx 470 I'd another big jump up again in performance over the 1050TI and has been available for a very small amount more.
With this card being this price there is very little point getting the standard 1050 for more money and the 1050ti has been very close in price to the rx 470 and the 470 is considerably better.

For all those with "how does my card compare to this" questions, I would recommend toms hardware gpu hierarchy table. Essentially those in the same row are equal strength gpus (give or take) a significant step up is about three rows up. Eg an upgrade to 7770 is a rx 480
I have a 7970 3GB. would this be an acceptable upgrade?
hotmep to Deano120

This would be a downgrade, your 7970 outperforms this card.

You card was turned into the 280X. This card sits somewhere around the 270 and 270X, depending on the direct x version and game, but either way you look at it 7970 to 460 is a downgrade. You would use less power though.
