Good luck trying to copy large files,it will take ages if it will allow you at all. Never again for me when it comes to cheap USB drives

Hm, does seem exceptionally slow.
Plenty of reviews on Amazon and only one who gives a vague benchmark (no CrystalDiskmark screenshots) is this one:

5MB/s write and 20MB/s read. Which would mean about 15GB per hour to write (or two hours to fill this drive).

The price per GB is good, but about the only use I would have for such a slow drive would be for installing Windows from and for that I only need 8GB...

Plenty of uses for slow USB drives though. Like car stereos for example; filled once with 32GB of music then pretty much never changed again so read/write speed not important at all.

I've got a 128gb thumb drive. I don't know what I was thinking. It is ok to download files onto direct from the internet, but for copying large files (say 300mb plus) performance is abysmal. So bad that you probably wouldn't want to use it to copy some files from a PC for playback on a TV.

So I'd say that anyone thinking about purchasing on of these should consider what they want to use it for. As mentioned in the comment above, there are uses for slow drives.
