Seems to be good deal for a new Samsung Galaxy S7...
Go to above link and select relevant colour and 32GB option, sort by high upfront cost and select the 3GB tariff with £49.99 upfront.
Total cost: 49.99+(12*24) = £337.99
Call o2 when you get the phone and tell them you want to cancel your airtime and pay the cost of the device.
Step by step guide for this deal
1) Follow the get deal button, purchase the 49.99 + £31.50*24 tariff.
2) Receive your phone and sim card.
3) Put the sim card into your phone and go onto myO2 (app or website) and from there request the unlock code.
4) Call 202 from the same sim card as it will make things much easier, go straight to the I want to leave o2 department or something like that (I think it's thinking of leaving us? Press something) as that will connect you with the right people much quicker.
5) Tell the person you want to pay your device in full and cancel the airtime. They will ask you why, tell them you don't think the airtime is a good value for money, but you want to keep the phone because you think it's an outstanding value for money. They will ask you for card details, you tell those details and that's it, they cancel it for you in about an hour.
6) You own the phone from that point, assumed that you have done this straightaway, there won't be any charges, otherwise you will have to pay as much airtime as you have used.
7) Unlock code will come through in about 2 to 48 hours.
Oh, also, you get a free Samsung speaker worth £99.00, as they say.

I think o2 have cottoned onto this and are making cancelling the airtime as difficult as possible . I went for the P9 in September and followed the instructions as above . It took until November to resolve and in that time they had taken a total of £500 from my account . I had several people assure me they would resolve it and never did . In the end I had to write to them and eventually got my money back . So just keep an eye on your bank account.

Only downside is credit score going down, also watch out cause sometimes they'll take money even if you've asked to cancel. Keep eye on it.

they did not want to unlock the phone, took a good few days and many requests - then didnt wanna cancel the contract - I stopped the direct debit with the bank after cancelling contract and they still tried to take the money !!!

Good deal, didnt affect my credit score, I got my unlock code almost immediately but there may be hassle with DD payments still being taken. I got it all sorted in the end but dont do this deal if you are not prepared to have some hassle - you probably will not !
