It's Rolson......safe.... how safe for £1.80....just about, near enough to pass.....
Once had a cheapo hammer and the head came off and at speed....I don't buy cheapo now......keeping both eyes

Not having a go :stuck_out_tongue: but this is a stubby hammer; I can’t see you swinging it hard enough to do any damage

I have the previous version, I don't like the handle on this one.
I always reach for this hammer in preference to longer ones as it is much easier to control.
Draper do a similar thing if you prefer a branded one

Draper... Rolson... Both wilko/supermarket tool brands. At this price it's OK for a learners hammer. I guess it's better to spend this and get a hammer and free postage rather than paying Amazon for postage.

I wouldn't put Draper in the same category as Rolson, even though they have DIY and Pro ranges that differ in quality. I normally don't buy hand tools unless they have Fatmax written on them but these stubby hammers have been so useful I wouldn't be without mine, even with a 'big boys' hammer by its side.
