It isn't always about re-sale value. I rarely sell any games and much prefer the convenience of digital.

I was expecting a bigger discount on the finale to be honest. This is currently 32% off, I think it would have been nice for 50% off, although I know that would make it stupidly low.
I'll just pop the Amazon link here. I think it's a Game price match too.

Is the digital premium edition worth getting at £46.99 I've never played any of the new final fantasy games so don't know much about the extra in game content plus I want to save some of the store credit for all these other games aswell ha

I'd say in this case it is. I've not played one since FF9!

Its the game plus the 'season pass', so all the extra downloadable content that'll get released over the next 6 months or whatever. Its not really worth it right now, as firstly we don't know if the content will be good, and secondly you can buy the season pass on its own from Amazon (still digital) for £17.49 right now, which means you'd only really save a couple quid buying it combined like this, and when you don't know if you'll even like the game or not, I don't personally think that's worth the risk.
Hell, I know I'll probably get the content eventually, and I love Final Fantasy, but I'm still not buying the season pass upfront like that. By the time its out, it'll probably drop in price anyway.

Yeah same, but if you add FFXV to your basket it updates correctly. I think we're just a bit ahead of the proper announcement from them
EDIT: Nope, they've announced it, the store is just a bit messed up.

Thanks man. Wasn't sure if they had already released some extra dlc for it and obviously if that's all it costs to add it later I'd rather save the money and basically get another full game off the store.
