Look after the pennies and all that. The last episode is released today, iirc.
Enter the fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne in this dark and violent new story and discover the powerful and far-reaching consequences of your choices as the Dark Knight.
As Batman you'll encounter classic allies and adversaries, and as Bruce, you'll learn the true meaning of what it means to be the man behind the cowl. Batman - The Telltale Series comes to retail as a Season Pass Disc, which includes Episode One, and grants access to the remaining four episodes in the season as they become available to download.

Still hasn't shown up on the store - it looks like it might be tomorrow from telltale's support page:

Now that all episodes are released, will they release this game with all episodes physically on the disc?
As it is right now, it really doesn't have much resale value since most of the game is actually DLC.
I care little if it is £16.69 or £6.69, I still prefer my physical media version(s).

Not true - the disk acts as a "key" to download episodes 2-5, it is NOT a DLC code. So you can trade it in as normal, which I plan to do tomorrow after I finish episode 5. Bought the disk from CEX using credit for £20 a few weeks back and will trade it back to them for £16 credit, price locked on their website

They've done it in the past so hopefully they'll do it for Bats. These physical releases with only one episode are going to end up being worthless pieces of plastic.

Doubtful as this is what Telltale have started to do now; one disc version per game. Though you mention DLC its more like an update; put the disc in and download each episode. There's no DLC codes or the like, borrow the same disc (or sell it on) and the next owner does the same. Should have big disclaimer on the box "needs internet or you wont have the full version".

Why? The episodes aren't exclusive to the discs first owner. Anybody after that can download the remaining episodes. I don't understand why it's such an issues, unless of course we're discussing bandwidth?

Years later when it's no longer supported the one who bought this version will only be able to play that one episode and then there's those who live in rural areas without internet -- or with very limited internet access.
The price is really good for what it is but the physical content is very lacking.
