Cracking price. Question is - do I need a racing wheel or controller to really make the most of it?

Is this worth getting if I already have the standard version of the game
Seems a pretty good price - voted hot. I'm tempted to get this but I'm a pretty causal / infrequent racing gamer and I hear this is very hard.
Any experiences?

I wouldn't say it was hard and the options can be changed to suit your play style, the one thing for me was online you couldn't really have decent races as there is always that one person that wants to ruin it for everyone and ram you off the road but i guess that happens with all online racing games,

No, it's far from it. Assetto Corsa is hard, you need to really tweak your car to get the best out of it. This is realistic, yet fun. I have both and play regularly depending on what mood I'm in. It's more accessible than assetto corsa and definitely worth adding to your collection if you enjoy racing sims

I'm looking for a casual wheel for use with this, but don't want to fork out £180+ for the Logitech G920. Just how bad would the Tracer wheel (on sale at Amazon for £39.99) be in comparison?
Obvious flaw would be the 270 degree lock-to-lock rotation on the tracer compared to the 900-degree Logitech, but what about the pedals?

Just buy it, if it's rubbish send it back...

Hmmm, the stick is on the wrong side. I'd be like driving a cheap rental car on the Autobahn!

I think you would be better off going for a used logitech driving force gt wheel ,you should be able to pick 1 up for roughly the same price and they perform well though the gearstick is also on the righthand side. There is a bit of a learning curve to using a forcefeedback wheel though the results are worth it and you will also need a suitablle surface/table to attach it to.

got standard game on release what does this add other than new cars.I'm looking more for the single player experience more than the multiplayer.
