In Bristol, at Emersons Green, pound land has dropped every one of its prices to 90p (apart from the manager specials). The store assistant said it's because of pound world opening in the same retail park. She said it's for the foreseeable future as they are doing really well from it. Includes the deals such as now it's 3 wrapping paper for £1.80!

It's not all 90p. Poundland now sell things over £1.
Think they need to rethink either naming their stores, or selling things back at £1

Or keep their name which is already known by customers and suppliers, whilst selling I'd say 99.5% of their products at £1 (or 3 for £1 etc) and using their buying power (buying high amounts of more expensive stock brining the cost of buying down) selling several select products at a higher cost to drive sales as a business. Just my opinion but I'd say keep the name.
